What Is FDLE Fingerprinting?

FDLE fingerprinting is required by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for Level 2 background checks, which include both state (FDLE) and FBI searches.

These checks are used for licensing, employment, and certifications where fingerprint-based identity verification is required.

Each submission must include your ORI number (Originating Agency Identifier), which tells FDLE which agency or licensing board should receive your results.
